Hiyari Hatto (HH) is a System to
- Identify the possible danger through Team members experience
- Develop the countermeasure utilizing their expertise and
- Implement the same in consultation with his supervisor
It is a pro-active exercise but not post mortem after accident
What is purpose of Hiyari Hatto
- To grasp the future accident causing condition in advance and establish procedure to report as many as such cases to management
- To ensure that countermeasures are taken to all (HH)and make work place safer
- Develop Team member’s skill to identify the danger
- Create pleasant and easy to work situation

How to identify Hiyari Hatto
- Any situation or prevailing conditions on equipment/work area, which has potential to create accident.
- Any operation difficult to do/carry out.
- Any operations which enhances the safety of equipment or work area
- Any modification in standard operating procedures/operating control procedures which contributes towards accident prevention

- Adequate slings to hold cargo
- Load appropriately as per crane capacity
- Proper maintenance and checking sling condition frequently
- Balance load as per center of gravity
